JPIC is the name of one of our most active committees at First Presbyterian Church.  We take as our mission "furthering Christ's message of social justice and stewardship of creation through action and education."

Earth Care Congregations is a new program from the PC (USA) environmental justice office that helps enable Churches through Session approval of an Earth Care Pledge to integrate environmental practices and thinking into all facets of church life by completing projects and activities in four fields (worship, education, facilities and outreach).

Bill Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award
