    This window was given by John C. Stowell in memory of his wife Marietta Lord and his four children, all of whom predeceased him. He was a wholesale grocer with a shop at 19 to 21 West State Street, and he lived at 52 North Tioga.  In this church he was a deacon 10 years, elder 20, and treasurer of church charities.  Mrs. Stowell had been very active in church work for many years, as well.
