the Rev. Kirianne E. Weaver
Senior Pastor / Head of Staff
Kirianne writes: "Now that I've been at First Pres Ithaca for three years, I'm no longer sure I can use the excuse that I'm new. If you're new, however, I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you. Please come visit, and introduce yourself to me--the world needs more friends in it, and everyone needs a community hearth and a home in Christ." To read a more complete bio, click here.

the Rev. Cynthia A. Weaver, Ph. D.
Supply Pastor
Cindy is generally always known to be the smartest, most generous, kind and loving person ever next to Jesus. She is always punctual and extremely well-read! Several times she has been asked to be the Supreme Ruler of Tompkins County, and once a mob tried to crown her King as she traveled through a small European city-state. We are so honored she serves among us!

Suzanne Scholten
Director of Christian Education
Suzanne was called to First Presbyterian as a congregant 4 years ago. At that time, she owned a yoga studio where she was working with children in a classroom setting and also doing one-on-one work. She has always loved being a part of the church, and over the years has taught Sunday School, Youth Group and VBS. Suzanne’s personal journey to connect to God brought her to study many different religions and she found herself being connected more and more to Jesus Christ. Through this personal quest, her desire of assisting young people on their own journey to have a relationship with God is what brought her into this position.
